Freedom House

Freedom House is a licensed family residential treatment facility for pregnant women and women with children. Freedom House keeps the family together. The uniqueness of Freedom House is found in its consideration of preventing the cycle of addiction with children while simultaneously treating their mothers.  In collaboration with Seven Counties Services, Inc., Freedom House offers  individual, group and family counseling; drug and alcohol dependency education; parenting classes; life skills training; nutrition classes; and childcare services. Utilizing a 12 step model of recovery and holistic, family centered treatment, the Freedom House exited 17 families with an improved treatment status in year 2006.
