Established in 1987, the Halfway Back program provides residential treatment to men recovering from addiction and exiting a correctional facility.  Emphasizing a Twelve Step recovery approach, Halfway Back allows men to engage in an individualized case plan that promotes greater accountability and ownership for living a healthy lifestyle. In addition to Twelve step meetings and recovery groups, residents are expected to participate in individual and group counseling, life skills training and employment readiness assessment and training. Halfway Back supports residents in their efforts to return to their communities as healthy and contributing members.
