Moving families from homelessness to permanent housing, is the goal of this transitional housing program in Lexington, KY.  Targeting families and/or pregnant women, the Family Housing Program has 2 and 3 bedroom apartments scattered throughout Fayette County.  While in the program, residents receive counseling, assistance with basic needs, as well as a job readiness assessment and employment training, enabling them to increase their self sufficiency.
